Construction of the furnace
The furnace is made up of two parts; the furnace module and the lid. The furnace is placed on a stand that is
firmly connected to the furnace.
The controller is located on the right side of the furnace (must be purchased as an accessory for an additional
fee); the electro equipment is placed below the lid on the back side of the furnace. There is an opening in the
bottom of the furnace, which can be continuously covered with a manually operated sheet metal curtain. This
allows the intake air to be regulated.

Construction and insulation of the module
The furnace mantle is made of brushed bent stainless-steel plate. It is lined with mineral grain fiber mat and
rows of bricks which form the wall of the inner furnace chamber. Furnaces with a supply voltage of 230 V also
use a microporous panel to improve insulation properties. Fireproof glass rope is inserted between the stainlesssteel plate and the bricks along the perimeter of the upper edge of the furnace, completely covering the upper
edge of the mat and microporous panels. The furnace floor is made of bricks. The outer furnace mantle is
additionally secured with hose clamp strips.
Construction and insulation of the lid
The lid is made of bricks belted with brushed bent stainless-steel plate and is secured by hose clamp strips. There
is an air vent in the axis of the lid. The lid is lifted manually, facilitated by gas springs which are also used to
secure the lid in the open position.
Important construction notes
A small gap between the lid and the oven module (a gap of approximately 2 mm) is not a manufacturing defect
and does not affect the device’s function, energy consumption or start-up time.
During use, the furnace mantle may change color, this does not affect the function of the device.
Brick defects with a maximum size of 5 mm x 15 mm and a depth of 6 mm are allowed. Machining marks on the
bricks are also allowed

Standard equipment of the furnace covers:
Manually opened lid upwards with the help of a gas strut
Power cable
Main switch
Connector for connecting the controller
Sheet metal screen to control the air supply
Vent (in lid)

S Type Thermocouple

Bentrup TC95 controller (20 programs in 20 steps, graphic LCD display 2.8″, USB interface, data logger
with recording of 48 hours of operation, delayed program start, Wi-fi ready and access via smartphone
with the SuperWise application)

Heating
All M furnace models are engineered for maximum temperatures of 1320 °C. Heating is done with heating coils
which are inserted into the horizontal grooves in the brick lining of the mantle. The heating coils are secured by
hooks.
